Jim and Margie Guin have been a part of Laborers Together International from the beginning. They are board members, ordained ministers, and good friends. The Bible talks about having someone like-minded to share in the ministry. Jim and Margie are those like-minded people.

Jim and Margie's first missions trip was to India. Many people want to ease their way into missions by first going on what might be considered a "safe" trip to a country like England where they won't experience major cultural differences. But Jim and Margie plunged right in, going to a country where many would fear to go, especially when they had never even been outside the United States.

They loved it and came back hooked. They saw God move in miraculous ways, and were used of God in many different situations. They loved the people of India and didn't let primitive conditions dampen their spirits or deter them from ministering. Since then, they (or one of them) have been on every short-term missions trip LTI has taken, first as leaders in training, then as leaders of the groups themselves. They have also helped to "spy out the land" for future missions trips by meeting the missionaries and visiting their ministry.

Jim and Margie have a heart for missionaries and also want to see people become all that they can be in their callings from the Lord. They help LTI in whatever capacity they are needed, and we are pleased that they are a part of this ministry.
