Mike and his wife, Kay live in Keller, Texas, where they are founders of Laborers Together International—a missions organization which assists "ordinary" people in participating in short-term missions trips and doing "extraordinary" things for God. The goal of LTI is to mobilize the Body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission.

Mike grew up in a parsonage and has always had a heart for missions. Both Mike and Kay have a strong missions call on their lives. They have been in full time ministry for 27 years serving as associate pastors, youth pastors, business administrators, and pastors, and have worked with several ministries before founding Laborers Together International.

They have traveled and ministered in 29 different countries, and have taken short-term mission groups ranging from 4 to 17 people into other countries.

They are both talented musicians who have ministered in music at conventions, retreats and revivals. They have ministered at pastor's conferences, held revivals in churches, as well as various other meetings. Their travels have taken them to numerous places in the United States and into many nations, including England, Scotland, Germany, India, N. Africa, and Singapore. They have held marriage seminars in the US, Mexico, and Bulgaria, and Mike recently held a leadership conference in Romania.
